Inert system and nitrogen system
The inert system and nitrogen system of our agent brand are efficient and safe gas management solutions for Marine, petrochemical, offshore engineering and other industries. Both types of systems for ships and industrial facilities are designed to ensure safe production and transportation and prevent the formation of explosive gas environments. Noble gas systems are suitable for large-scale oil tankers, chemical vessels and liquid cargoes, reducing fire and explosion risks by injecting smoke with low oxygen content. Nitrogen systems provide higher purity nitrogen for fine chemicals, LNG transportation, and applications requiring sophisticated environmental protection.
Inert gas system
It is mainly used for oil tankers, liquefied gas vessels and other ships and facilities that need to transport or store flammable materials. Its core role is to reduce the oxygen content in the cargo hold by filling the cargo hold or storage tank with inert gas (low-oxygen flue gas) to prevent combustible gas from mixing with oxygen to cause an explosion.
Application scenario:
Crude oil and refined oil transportation, liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessels
Inert gas system working principle:
1. Flue gas source: The system uses the exhaust gas of the ship's boiler or main engine as the inert gas source. These exhaust gases are treated to remove soot and some harmful substances, and then introduced into the cargo hold to reduce oxygen levels.
2. Gas handling units: Inert gas systems include coolers, dust collectors and other equipment to ensure that inert gases are adequately cooled and purified before entering the cargo hold to prevent damage to cargo or equipment.
3. Oxygen monitoring: The system is equipped with a high-precision oxygen analyzer that can monitor the oxygen concentration in the cargo hold in real time to ensure that it is kept within a safe range (usually less than 8%) and effectively prevent the formation of explosive gas mixtures.
4. Automatic control and alarm: The system has an automatic control function to automatically start the inert gas injection process when the oxygen level exceeds a set threshold, and an alarm is issued to remind the operator to take action.
Nitrogen system
It is mainly used in ships, chemicals and other industrial facilities to replace air by filling tanks, pipes or cargo holds with high-purity nitrogen, especially to reduce oxygen levels to prevent oxidation reactions or explosion hazards. Nitrogen systems are more sophisticated than inert gas systems and are suitable for more stringent applications.
Application scenario:
Chemical Transportation and storage, liquefied Natural gas (LNG) vessels, industrial production
Nitrogen system working principle:
1. Nitrogen generation technology: Nitrogen systems use membrane separation or pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology to separate nitrogen from the air and produce high purity nitrogen (usually up to 99% purity or higher). The system is stable and efficient, providing a continuous supply of nitrogen as needed.
2. Storage and distribution: Nitrogen is generated and stored in tanks and transported through a pipeline system to areas that require nitrogen protection. The system can adjust the nitrogen supply pressure and flow rate according to the actual demand.
3. Oxygen concentration monitoring: The system is equipped with sophisticated oxygen concentration monitoring equipment to ensure that the oxygen content in the nitrogen environment is always kept within the safe range (usually less than 1%) to prevent any oxidation reactions.
4. Automation and safety function: The nitrogen system has automatic control and alarm function, when the oxygen concentration or nitrogen supply is abnormal, the system will send an alarm, and can automatically adjust the nitrogen supply to ensure the continuous safety of the environment.
